Marc VDS Ford wins qualifying race

Marc VDS Racing's Maxime Martin and Frederic Makowiecki secured their third qualifying race victory of the year with a straightforward drive in the opening part of the Ordos GT1 World Championship event. The Ford duo led from start to finish, with Makowiecki opening out a comfortable advantage over JRM Nissan's Peter Dumbreck in the first stint. Dumbreck's team-mate Richard Westbrook chipped away at Martin's lead after the pitstops, but the leader always had enough in hand
