German car maker BMW has revealed its interest in joining the V8 Supercars series with its DTM-spec car in the future. The Australian championship is planning to introduce a "Car of the Future" concept from the 2012 season, and BMW would be interested if the regulations were not too dissimilar to those in the DTM.
