Indy teams want aero kits postponed

IndyCar Series team bosses are pushing to postpone the introduction of alternative body kits for the championship's new cars until 2013, meaning the full field would use the Dallara design when the next generation rules are introduced next season. Under the 2012 regulations, teams and constructors can fit their own aero kits to a Dallara-built chassis, and engine choice will also be opened up, with Honda, Chevrolet and Lotus already committed to building engines.
