Engelhart Strikes First in Season 2

The cars and stars of the NASCAR iRacing.com Tour Modified season embarked on their fourth season of online racing this past week as they made the haul to the virtual Toyota Speedway at Irwindale, California. With most of the veterans looking to rekindle past glory and a mix of newcomers looking to make a splash, the series saw a growth spurt at Irwindale with 173 drivers taking part in twenty official races. Those sim racers who took part came from around the globe and featured all different skill levels ? including one newly-crowned Pro Series driver! Veteran Herbert Engelhart ended the last quarter strong by winning the week at Thompson International Speedway en route to a fourth place finish in the points.
