FIA confirms double DRS for India
The FIA has revealed the DRS zones for the upcoming Indian Grand Prix, which will see the return of a double area for use of the device. The first detection zone will be placed 10 meters after Turn 15 of the new Buddh circuit, with the activation 36 meters after Turn 16, leaving drivers with a bit part of the shorter straight to try to overtake.

Narain Karthikeyan says Formula 1 will find India an 'eye-opening' experience when the grand prix fraternity comes to race in the nation for the first time this weekend. Karthikeyan will return to an HRT race seat, replacing Tonio Liuzzi, for his country's first GP, which takes place at the new Buddh International Circuit, and he thinks F1 will love - and be surprised by - his home nation. "It will certainly be an eye-opener, there's no two ways about it," said Karthikeyan.

Raileanu?s Jetta championship
Moldovian Alexandru Raileanu has won the Season 3 Jetta class of the iRacing.com Grand Touring Cup.� In a nearly perfect season the Central-Eastern Europe sim racer won 11 of his 12 starts, only having had to settle for fourth in his final race of the season after having closed the deal on the championship already. Raileanu did not compete in four weeks of the season and thus did not have the luxury of any drop weeks.� Instead, he had to throw all his eight weeks into the fight to come up a mere 22 points ahead of second place Nicholas Sladeczek of Club Carolina. Tom Coronel absorbed race-long pressure from Yvan Muller to pick up his first win of the season in the second of today's WTCC races at Suzuka. Video: Audi e-tron Spyder struts its stuff in Malibu

There is a lot to love about the 2014 Audi e-tron Spyder. It's a compact roadster with a torque-happy, twin-turbo diesel V6 mated to two electric motors capable of more instant twist. When we recently took the e-tron Spyder for a spin, we were limited to just 40 miles per hour, but the Four-Ringed automaker tells us that a trip to 62 takes only 4.4 seconds.
And because this Spyder is a green monster, it can travel up to 30 miles on electric power alone. Using a mixture of the diesel and its lithium ion battery, it will consume on average a scant 2.2 liters of fuel per 100 kilometers.
That sounds like a lot of "too good to be true," but Audi promises to be the leader in luxury electric cars by 2020, and a production version of this vehicle is expected for 2014. Hit the jump to watch new footage of the e-tron Spyder in motion. It might not be ready to go on sale, but it at least looks mighty fine on the roads of Malibu, California, near where we drove it.
